The 24-hour injury call center is staffed with occupational health nurses
Employee and injury details will be collected, and the injury will be assessed
If needed, a phone call can switch to a video triage call so the nurse can see the injury
When the employee goes to a clinic or hospital:
The nurse or injury case manager will contact the treating medical facility with treatment authorization and a description of the injury
Please note that CORE may suggest different medical facilities than what we are accustomed to using, but these medical facilities are more versed in treating occupational injuries
What hasn’t changed after an injury is reported:
Contact the Compliance Department 317-501-1984 for post-injury drug and alcohol testing; the after-hours number is 615-353-1888
