We are searching for a qualified Professional Lowboy Truck Driver in the Ocala, Florida area.

This driver will make deliveries to the east coast of equipment, pipe materials, etc. for the construction, maintenance and replacement of gas utility pipelines. On occasion, deliveries will be made to the corporate warehouse in Indianapolis, IN.

Occasional overnight travel is required. When not driving this position will help with maintenance of trucks and heavy equipment along with local dump truck deliveries.
All efforts are made to keep drivers home on weekends.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Significant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
  • Over-the-road DOT knowledge with at least 1-3 months’ related experience.
  • Current DOT physical or be able to obtain one (at your own cost).
  • Knowledge of electronic login procedures.
  • Properly operate a truck, trailer and multiple types of construction equipment.
  • Properly move, load, unload and secure heavy equipment and cargo for transit.
  • Maintain driving logs according to state and federal regulations.
