Vacuum Excavation Services
Using the Miller Vac-Hoe® Vacuum Excavator
A key to today's trenchless technology is the use of the Miller Vac-Hoe® vacuum excavator and the Slot® "small hole" excavation method. Since the Slot® technique requires far less soil and pavement to be moved than traditional excavation, a project can be completed with greater cost-effectiveness, efficiency, safety, time savings and less disruption of traffic.
Miller's experienced technicians utilize a variety of vacuum excavators and specially designed tools to handle a wide range of underground procedures. These include the location and verification of underground utilities such as gas, water, sewage and all types of telephone and electric cables. Other uses include: the installation of Miller's ENCAPSEAL and MILLERSEAL external gas main joint repair products, the installation of anodes, test and bonding wires; fusion welding; service installations, renewals or terminations; valve change outs, plus valve and curb adjustments and cleaning.
