Confined-Space Entry Teams
A key to the success of Miller's trenchless pipeline rehabilitation activities is the quality of performance exhibited by our highly trained installation personnel. These confined-space entry teams are available to consultants and clients to inspect and identify pipeline problems in their systems.
Miller crews are fully trained and follow all confined-space entry safety practices that are now required by law. Our experienced personnel operate in full compliance with OSHA's 29 CFR 1910.146 Permit-Required Confined-Space Regulations with rescue and retrieval equipment on the job site at all times. Miller crews are also certified in first aid, CPR, SCBA and emergency rescue procedures. Mandatory annual training sessions are held for all personnel.
Pipeline Inspection Technicians
Millers' confined-space entry technicians are available to consultants and clients to physically inspect the inside of pipelines 16" and larger to assess pipeline condition. Piping can be checked for corrosion, deterioration, collapsing or leakage and the data collected used to evaluate the need for rehabilitation or replacement.
Non-Destructive Pipe Testing
Experienced Miller technicians can determine the wall thickness and integrity of pipelines using special electronic equipment. These inspections are usually handled by a confined-space trained team that physically enters the pipeline.
