Bar Holing is a process that involves placing a small hole in the ground in the vicinity of gas piping to extract a sample of the ground atmosphere for leak analysis. This process is as much an art as it is a science and our trained technicians have developed many techniques and specialty equipment to assist us in being recognized as a company particularly adapt at conducting leak surveys. Some of the equipment that has been developed by Miller for this process is sold world wide to other gas utilities. After the bar holing has been completed, Miller will often be contracted to repair the leaks found using our Vac Rigs and Safe-T- Seal®
